After arriving at Mr.Pokémon's house, and obtaining the mysterious yellow and a PokéDex,
Allen make his way back to Cherrygrove City.

"Hmm... A yellow ball, wonder what it is... Maybe, there's a Pokémon inside."
Just then, Thump!

"Hey, watch where you're going, ****!"
"I'm sorry!"
"Hmm? He has a PokéBall? Just nice, I can see how strong it is!"
"Go Chikorita!"
"Chika!"
"Use Tackle!"

It knocked down Allen.
"Hey, what ya doing?!"
"Can't you see, boy?! It's a Pokémon battle! Come on, show me your skills!"
"If it's a battle you want, then...
Go Totodile!" (PokéBall opens)
"Tota!"

"Use Tackle!"
"Dodge it, then Tackle!"
Chikorita uses Tackle. Totodile fell but soon got up.
"Totodile, Tackle again!"
"Toto-da!"
The Tackle sent Chikorita flying.
It fell on the floor, fainted.

"What! It... it can't be.
I... I got the wrong Pokémon, darn it!"
He turned to Allen.
"You may have won this time,
but I will be back, STRONGER, Just you wait and see!"
He ran away.
"What a rough boy!"

Just then, Allen found something on the floor. He picked it up.
It's a chain with the letter 'G' and 'N' carved at the front.
"It must belong to the boy just now..."
Allen thought.
"I'm gonna keep it first," he placed it in his pocket.

The PokéPhone rang.
"Hello? Allen!?" It's Prof. Elm!
"Yes?"
"This... This is bad... Allen... bad!"
"What is bad? Calm down, Prof. Elm!"
"I... I... the... stolen... gone... ball... Pokém... bad..."
"Huh?"
"Just... hur... ry... back..."
"Got it!"
Allen ran back all the way to New Bark Town.

Just what have happened, causing Prof. Elm to panic?

Volume 1 Chapter 5: Poké & Oak

After leaving Cherrygrove City to go to Mr. Pokémon's house,
Allen saw a crowd of people.
Allen walked closer and saw that there is a Pokémon battle.
It's a Starmie and a Lairon!
Soon after, the Starmie was defeated.
Everyone cheered, "He won!" "You defeated it!" "Go, Steven!"

The man named Steven said, "That was a great battle but try to level up your Starmie some more. We will meet again!"
Then, as he was about to leave, he saw Allen. Steven walked towards him.
He told Allen, "It looks like you're a trainer, ya? I can see that you'll grow to become a strong trainer. I hope I can battle you someday."
Then, he left.
Allen wondered what Steven had said but he does not bother much and continue his way to Mr.Pokémon's house.

Finally, he saw a signpost. 'Mr. Pokémon's house'
He knocked on the door. Then, a woman opened the door.
"Who are you?"
"I am Allen, Prof. E..."
"Mr. Pokémon, he have arrived." She turned back to Allen, "Come in!"

"Hello Allen-san, Prof. Elmy told me you're coming." said a man.
"Prof. Elmy?" Allen asked.
Mr. Pokémon replied, "A nickname I call for Prof. Elm." "Oh... You must be Mr. Pokémon. Prof. Elm said that you have..." "Yes, yes. Follow me."

They went into a room.
Allen saw something in a machine. Mr. Pokémon took it out.
"I do not know that kind of Pokéball it is, so I wanted Prof. Elmy to research it. Here!"
He passed the yellow ball to Allen.

Just then, someone knocked on the door. He came in.
"Hello, Mr. Pokémon!" "Oh, it's you! You have finally come!"
"Allen, I want you to meet Prof. Oak, Samuel Oak."
"Hello, Prof. Oak," said Allen.
"How polite," he answered. "I see that you have gotten the ball. Both Mr. Pokémon and myself do not know what this is, so we wanted Prof. Elm to take a look at it. Since you're here, I will give you something useful."

He handed something to Allen. Allen was puzzled, "A... sweet?" "Yes, it is very delicious. It is a Kanto region specialty. You can't buy it in Johto" "Um... Thanks?" he said.
"Just kidding! This is the item I'm going to give you. Here, this is a PokéDex. It automatically records any data of Pokémon. It consist of all 483 Pokémon.
Note: The remaining 10 is not included as it is a part of Platinum's expansion.
"It is also your Pokémon Trainer identification card. I hope you will complete ur PokéDex (not possible). You can call me on ur PokéPhone for me to rate ur Déx. I have to go now, see you soon!" "Thanks, Prof. Oak and bye!"
"Bye, Mr. Pokémon!" "Oh! Bye!" He left.
"So, I think it's time for u to go back to Elmy (diaox), right? See ya!" "Bye~"
And so, Allen left Mr. Pokémon's house and return to New Bark Town.

Let's recap!

Previously, Allen set out on his adventure.
And he had chosen a Totodile as his partner.
He got his first win by defeating a Wild Pokémon, Sentret.
He arrive in Cherrygrove City.
and met a man who gave him a Town Map for his PokéPhone
Note: PokéGear will be changing to PokéPhone from now on.

Volume 1 Chapter 4: My First Battle

After a week of rest, we will continue this story.

Previously, Allen receives the PokéGear.
And he finally come face-to-face with a Wild Pokémon.
We join our hero, Allen now!

"Go Totodile!"
*Prepare for Battle*

"Let's see...
Totodile use Water Gun!" Allen commanded.
"???" Totodile is puzzled.
"It seems it can't learn it yet!
Then... Totodile use Scratch!"

"Totodile~"
Totodile scratch the opponent.
Sentret fell. Then, it got up and uses Scratch too.
Totodile uses Scratch again and Sentret fainted.
"Yay! Our first win! Good job, Totodile! Allen said.
"Toto, toto, dile~"
(Totodile gains 20 Exp. Points)

After walking a long distance, Allen finally arrives in Cherrygrove City.
Then, he saw an old man.

"Young boy, you seem to be a rookie Trainer, no?
You must not know what is in a Town or City, right?
I will show you."

Allen follows the old man.
He brought him to a place with red roof.
"This is the Pokémon Center, you will heal your Pokémon here for free."
Then, he was brought to a blue roof house.
"This is the Pokémon Mart. You will buy your items here."
And this is the sea, you need a Pokémon to swim across it."
Finally, they arrive at the last place.
"And this is my house. I live here.
Thank you for following me and listening to me while I speak.
To reward, here is a Town Map, for you to insert in your PokéGear"
(Allen inserts the Town Map into the PokéGear)

Then, Allen continues his way to Mr. Pokémon's house.

because, Japan is selling HeartGold/SoulSilver version this week.
My previous story plan are based on Gold/Silver/Crystal.
Since HGSS is released this week,
I will wait till the walkthrough are set up on some sites.

Volume 1 Chapter 3: The PokéGear

Previously on Allen's Pokémon Adventure...
Allen met his neighbour, Jay. Then, he went to Prof. Elm's lab.
He manages to obtain a Totodile for his starter Pokémon.
And now, here it is!

Here's our hero, Allen going to Cherrygove City.
Here is the map. (Allen does not have a map yet)

He head back to New Bark Town.
Then, he saw mum.

"Hey, son, here!" she said as she waved.
"Yes, mum?" I called her.

"Here! Take this! It is a PokéGear.
It will be important on your adventure!
I have put our phone number in it. You can call me whenever you want."

Then, Allen walked west to Route 29.
A Pokémon jumped out. It is a Sentret!
"Go, Totodile!"

After obtaining the PokéGear, he come face-to-face with a Pokémon.
It will be his first battle ever.
Will he defeat it?
Or will Sentret defeat him?

Volume 1 Chapter 2: My Chosen One

Previously, Allen left home and is going to Prof. Elm's laboratory.

As Allen walked closer to Prof. Elm's lab, he saw someone familiar.
"Hey, Jay?"
"Hey, if it isn't Allen?" asked Jay.

Jay is Allen's neighbour.
He is one year younger than Allen.

"Hey, you are on your way to Prof. Elm's lab?" asked Jay.
"Yep!" replied Allen. "See you soon, I hope..."

He bids farewell to Jay and moves on.
He went to Bark Village which was above New Bark Town.
There was where Prof. Elm's lab is.
Luckily, there are no grasses on the route there.

After 5 minutes, he reached there.
Then, he saw a boy hiding sneakily in a bush beside the Lab.
Allen went forward.

"Hey?" Allen said.
"Shut up, and get lost!" the boy shouted.
*What bad temper*, Allen thought.

He went in the Lab.
"Hey, anyone here?" Allen asked.
"Yes, anything the matter?" asked a man, wearing spectacles.
"I would like to meet Prof. Elm for a starter Pokémon." Allen replied.
"Oh, he is in the room there." the man replied.
Then, Allen realised the man is Prof. Elm's aide.

He went in the room and saw Prof. Elm.
"Prof. Elm?" Allen asked.
"Oh hi, you must be here for a starter Pokémon." Prof. Elm.
"Let's go back to the main room."

"Here is the capsule where there are three PokéBall, each carrying a Pokémon.
All three Pokémon has not been chosen. You can have what you want." Prof. Elm told Allen.
"I just can't decide. All three look so cute. I think I would like..." Allen paused.
Then, he finally said, "I would like Totodile then."
"Ok, here is it's PokéBall" said Prof. Elm.
"Totodile, I choose you!" said Allen.

*Sound of PokéBall opening*
"Toto, toto, dile~"
"You are mine," said Allen.

*Beep, beep*
"?" Prof. Elm went to his computer.
"Oh! Come here, Allen," he said
Allen walked towards him.

"I have an old friend, his name is Mr. Pokémon
He likes to pick things up and examine them.
He just sent an email, saying that he found something interesting.
But he did not tell me what it is.
So Allen, I would like you to go Mr. Pokémon's house to collect the item, okay?" asked Prof. Elm.
"Okay then," replied Allen.
"His house is just north of Cherrygrove City so go there" said Prof. Elm.
"See ya!"

Just as Allen was about to leave the lab, someone called him.
It's Prof. Elm's Aide.
"Hello, I am Prof. Elm's aide and I would like you to have this.
It is a Potion. It will heal the Pokémon when it is injured." said the Aide as he handed Allen the Potion.
"Thanks!" replied Allen.

And so, our hero, Allen chose a Totodile for his starter Pokémon,
And obtain a Potion.
What will reach Cherrygrove City and Mr. Pokémon's house?

Volume 1 Chapter 1: A New Beginning (New Bark Town)

*Ring, Ring*
*Time to wake up, Time to wake up*

"I'm awake, I'm awake!"
"Huh? It's just the alarm clock"

Welcome to the Pokémon World!
It is a fine morning in New Bark Town.
Even though it was morning, wind had already started blowing.
Here's our trainer, the main lead in this story, Allen.
He had just celebrated his birthday yesterday.
Which means today is the BIG day!
Allen is finally going to be a Pokémon trainer!!!

"Are you awake?" asked his mother.
"Hey mum, I am awake and ready to meet Prof. Elm for my starter Pokémon.

Allen walks to the living room, and eat his favourite sunny-side-up egg.
"Yum, yum. This will be my last breakfast with you..." said Allen.
"I have packed everything that I need," he continued.
"I am ready to head out! See you, mum! I will call back frequently! Bye!"

And so, our Allen left his house and ready to meet Prof. Elm.
What will he encounter on the way? Who will he meet?
Will he successfully reach Prof. Elm without any mishap?
